Betty Jane Hann

Betty Jane Hann, 92, of Easton, PA and formerly of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on August 6, 2021.

Born on November 23, 1928, in Hackettstown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Pool and Helen Carpenter Pool.

Betty worked throughout her life at various places, including Endicott Johnson's Shoes, Food Service at the Hackettstown Middle School and Housekeeping Dept. at Centenary College, all in Hackettstown, NJ.  She was also a member of The Hackettstown Fire Dept. Auxiliary and a Member of the American Legion Post 164.  Her greatest and happiest accomplishments were being a loving mother and grandmother.  Her home was never short of cookies and love. 

Betty is survived by her daughters; Sharon O'Hea and husband Paul, of Frenchtown, NJ, Nancy Rhines and husband Jerry, of Auburn, NY, Terri Munkirs, of Stewartsville, NJ, Patti Hunara and husband John, of Easton, PA, Kathleen "Pete" DeYong of Mifflinville, PA and Donna Gyorfi and husband Bruce, of Easton, PA.  In addition, she is survived by 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren with 1 on the way and 2 great-great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased her loving husband of 64 years, Donald L. Hann, her siblings; Richard Pool and Margaret Armstrong, her sons-in-law; Raymond DeYong and Gregory Munkirs and her loving grand-daughter, Tara Rhines. 

There will be a Calling Period on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ with the Interment Service to follow at 12:30 PM at the Union Cemetery in Hackettstown, NJ.
