Bernard “Bernie” Biacco

Born on January 23, 1943 in Pardeesville, Pa., he was the son of the late Augustus and Frances Laberta Biacco.

Bernie was a Veteran serving during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force. He was a cost estimator for Ingersoll-Rand, Foster Wheeler and Anvil Craft.

Bernie was a basketball, football, baseball and softball referee for 50 years. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Mary Martino, Augustus Biacco, and Nicholas Biacco and his wife Matilda.

He is survived by his loving wife Denise Duke Biacco, his children, Brooke Johnson and her husband Sean of Northampton, Pa., and Joseph Biacco, of Easton, Pa. He is also survived by his siblings, Josephine Bellinghausen of Hazleton, Pa., Anne Marie Rabenold of Schnecksville, Pa., Anthony Biacco and his wife Theresa of Hazleton, Pa., Philip Biacco and his wife Barbara of Hazleton, Pa., his sister-in-law, Enice Biacco, along with his grandchildren, Aedan and Quinn Johnson. Bernie is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

A calling hour will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 12 to 1PM in the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., Pa., followed by a service at 1PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bernard to St. Luke’s Hospice House, 2455 Black River Rd., Bethlehem, Pa. 18015 or to a charity of one’s choice.
