Barbara Schwar

Barbara Schwar, 82, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully at the Gracedale Nursing Home, in Nazareth, PA, on Friday, May 8, 2020.

Born on December 13, 1937, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Margaret (Sinclair) Corley. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Schwar, in 1986.

Barbara worked in the hospitality industry, starting at the Peke Inn, in Phillipsburg, NJ and retiring as Director of Catering at the Holiday Inn, in Bethlehem, PA.

She is survived by her children; Michael Schwar and his wife Carol, of Alpha, NJ, Kathleen Jordan and her husband Ed, of Schnecksville, PA and Patricia Hartigan and her husband Dave, of Bethlehem, PA, her grandchildren; Megan and Matthew Schwar, Kyle Kramlich and his wife Echo, Erin and Edward Jordan, and Carly and Rebecca Cussen and her great-grandchildren, Logan and Michael Kramlich. Along with her husband and her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Martin Corley.

Services are being held privately and have been entrusted to the Finegan Funeral Home.
