Barbara is survived by her husband of 53 years, Anthony; her three children Karen DeBard and husband John, Greg Martino and wife Patricia, and Kim Reddick and husband William. She is also survived by a sister Julie Ippolito and husband Nick. Barbara had eight grandchildren: Alec; Ragen; Jake; Chase: Brady; Avery; Bella & Jadyn. She was preceded in death by her parents Nicholas and Pauline Parisio as well as a sister Rosaleen.
Barbara was born in Brooklyn, but lived and grew up in Queens, NY. She graduated from John Adams High with honors and later earned an associates degree from Northampton County Community College. Barbara spent more than 20 years working in the accounting department at Warren Hospital from which she retired in 2009. Barbara was an active member of the Catholic Church and attended regular services at both the St Francis Retreat House and St Jane Frances Church. She loved golf, ceramics, painting, travel, the outdoors, her friends and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday beginning at 9:30am at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway in Palmer Township, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, also in Palmer. Visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 5:30 to 8:30pm. The interment will be private.
