Barbara A. Markley

She was born on June 2, 1936 in Easton, PA, daughter of the late John "Jack" and Winifred Walker Gipp.

Barbara was employed with Falk's Food Basket. She was a secretary in the Registrar's office at Lafayette College. She also worked in the bookstore at the Northampton Community College. Barbara enjoyed animals, reading and later in life enjoyed listening to music.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Markley, who passed away on December 12, 1992, along with her brothers, Daniel Gipp and William Gipp, and her infant sister, Patricia Gipp.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherri Keiter and her companion, Robert Peardon, of Palmer Twp., PA, and Sally Chrin of Easton, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kolbe Keiter, Dylan Keiter, Jason Chrin and Erin Chrin, along with her great-grandson, Braylon Aquino.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020, from 10 to 11 a.m. at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., PA, followed by a memorial service at 11. Inurnment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp., PA.
