Audrey M. Hanlon

Audrey was born in the Valley View section of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, where she resided for more than 40 years before moving to Easton.  Audrey was the daughter of the late Ralph L. Montilone, Sr. and Lucy Brailo Montilone Yurko.  Audrey was an outgoing, fun loving, kind, and compassionate woman, with a personality that didn’t quit.  Audrey was a 1959 graduate of Phillipsburg High School.  Audrey always spoke about her fond childhood memories; was a wonderful storyteller, creative, imaginative and of course, an awesome cook.  Above all, Audrey was a spectacular daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, an awesome homemaker (domestic engineer).  Audrey, dedicated in all she did throughout their lifetime, was committed to her family and friends.  In her past, Audrey worked at Sanko Piece Dye Works, the Town of Phillipsburg General Elections and School Board Elections, as a press operator at Rutler’s Screen Printing, and was a special needs classroom paraprofessional. Audrey was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.  Her loving daughter ZenaBeth Wambold and her husband Jason of Easton, and granddaughter, her “Dolly” Madison Anne of Philadelphia, a brother Ralph L. Montilone Jr., of Easton, survive Audrey.  Predeceased by Audrey are the love of her life, her husband James J. Hanlon, Jr. and a brother Russell “Rut” Montilone. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018, at the Finegan Funeral Home at 4080 William Penn Highway in Palmer Township from 3:30 – 5:00pm and also from 6:00 - 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on 5th Street in Easton. The interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer.
