Arline R. DeWalt

Arline R. DeWalt, 77, of Forks Township, passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospice House on May 30 2022. She was preceded in death just nine months ago by her beloved husband, the late Richard L. DeWalt. We know Dick was waiting for her with his warm embrace.

Arline was born on February 15, 1945 to the late Edward and Arline Dugan Roemmelt. Arline or “Ging” as she was known to her friends was a 1963 graduate of Belvidere High School and Churchman Business School. She spent over 38 years working for the Brown-Daub Dealerships in many positions, the last being Human Resources Manager at Brown-Daub Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge in Easton, PA.

She is survived by her daughters, Melanie Pfeiffer-Parente and her husband Martin of Plum, PA and Dr. Erin M. Ramos and her husband Edward of Rockville, MD; step-daughters Dianne L. DeWalt and Elizabeth DeWalt-Piper (Tom); sister-in-law M. Dianne DeWalt and her companion Walter Speck; her ex-husband and friend Jack Pfeiffer, along with several nieces and nephews. Her beautiful grandchildren are Rachel and Noah Parente, Simone, Logan, and Mia Ramos, Carly Pritchard, and Sarah Piper. Her brother, Ronald Roemmelt passed away in 1996.

Arline loved her pets (most recently her dog Gunner), reading, gardening, shopping and spending time on the beaches of Myrtle Beach, SC. But, her grandchildren were her greatest delight.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 6PM to 9PM and on Tuesday June 7, 2022 from 10 AM to 11AM at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., PA. A Memorial Service will follow on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11AM in the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp., PA. Visit
