Anthony R. Carey

Anthony R. Carey, 64, of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away surrounded by his family on September 15, 2019.

Born on April 19, 1955, in Woodbridge, NJ, he was the son of the late Edward A. Carey, Sr. and Lillian M. Cook Carey.

Anthony worked as a salesman for Johnson Controls. He was an amazing father, son, uncle, grandfather, a great friend and was the love of his wife Daniela’s life. He absolutely loved The Beatles, all the members of his “animal posse” and being in the outdoors, spending as many weekends as he could at his house on Mountain Lake, in Liberty Township, NJ.

In addition to his mother, Anthony is survived by his wife, Daniela Rodriguez Carey, his children; Sean Carey, Andrew Carey and Rebecca Collin, his granddaughter, Charlie Carey, his brother, Edward Carey, Jr., his nephew, Adam Carey, his parents-in-law; Eduardo and Margarita Rodriguez, his sister-in-law, Gabriela Debons, his brother-in-law, Eduardo Rodriguez, Jr. and his nieces and nephews.

Viewing Hours are set to be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 924 Second Ave, Alpha, NJ, from 6 to 8 PM. An additional Viewing Period will be held the following day, Friday, September 20,2019, from 8:30 to 9:15 AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial scheduled to follow at 10 AM at the Saint Mary Church, 830 5th Ave, Alpha, NJ. The interment is going to then be at the Fairview Cemetery, 1100 E Broad St, Westfield, NJ, at 12:30 PM.
