Anthony Emili, 61, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on April 14, 2020, at Warren Hospital, due to heart failure. He was the son of the late Lindo and Mary Emili.
Anthony received his Special Education Diploma from Phillipsburg High School in 1976. He was employed for several years at Shop Rite and Wendy’s in Phillipsburg, NJ.
In his younger years, Anthony enjoyed participating in the New Jersey Special Olympics and relished the medals he received. He loved his PHS Sports, especially football & wrestling, and religiously watched the Eagles, Phillies or 76’ers. Anthony also enjoyed attending Iron Pigs Baseball or visiting various local flea markets.
Anthony always had a positive attitude and an overwhelming desire to help others….He was a giver to all and a friend to everyone he met.
Anthony is survived by his brother, David & wife Jennifer of Allentown, PA, his sister, Linda of Swedesboro, NJ., and his nieces & nephews; Alicia Emili, Dave Emili & wife Alyssa, Vanessa Peacock & husband Brian, Brent Shiner & Taylor. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers John and Roberto.
