Anthony "Beechi" Franco

Born October 31, 1928 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Antonio and Josephine Olla Franco. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Theresa Consentino Franco.

He was a lifetime member of St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Tony was employed at the former New York Italian Bakery in Phillipsburg for many years as a baker.

His family meant the world to him and he could always be counted on to share stories of the old days, his life, and his family heritage.

He is survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by brothers: Samuel, Nicholas, George, and Vito.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 6-8 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg. Funeral services on Friday will begin at 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg. The entombment will be at the Holy Apostles Mausoleum in Greenwich Township, NJ.
