Anna M. Klaver Johnston

Anna M. Klaver Johnston of Vinton VA formerly of Washington NJ died September 12th 2021.Anna was born October 15th 1935. Daughter of the late Peter Klaver and the late Stella Lipka Klaver.

Anna always took pride in her family and maintaining a beautiful home. She loved collecting dolls, bears and clocks. She always had a gentle heart when it came to babies. She worked at Centenary College. She retired in 1997 and her and her husband moved to Ocala FL. Then in 2012 they moved to Vinton  VA.

Survived by her children : Connie Nawrocki and husband David of Vinton Va, Valerie Szucs and husband Wayne of Queensbury NY, Mark Johnston and wife Katy of Port Murray NJ. She has seven grandchildren , 2 step grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Peter Klaver, sisters Madeline Stanton, Alli Wortman, Candyce Kerrigan, April Richardson, Melody Bair and Nellie Klaver. She also had many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased  by husband Carl R. Johnston in 2012. Son Carl Cecil Johnston in 1990. Sisters: Virginia Staats in 2017, Francis (Frannie) Johnston in 2001. Brothers :  John Klaver  in 2019 and Lincoln Klaver in 2021.

A calling hour will be held in Saturday September 18, 2021 from 11 until 12 noon at the Finegan Funeral Home, 924 2nd Ave. Alpha, N.J. with a service to follow at noon. Interment will be held at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, N.J.
