Anna Gloria Bodogh

Anna Gloria Bodogh, 89, of Alpha, NJ, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Born on October 4, 1933, in Stewartsville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Csordas) Ehasz. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Bodogh, Sr., who passed in 2012.

Gloria served in the Civil Air Patrol during World War II.  She worked at NYT, Glen Magnetics and Koh-I Noor where she retired as a line supervisor after 21 years of employment.   She was a devout Catholic and member of St Mary Church, Alpha NJ.  Gloria enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.  She loved cooking, baking and entertaining.  Her family was her greatest joy and she devoted her entire life to them.

She is survived by her children; Edward R. Bodogh, Jr. and his girlfriend, Carol Ellicott, Eugene S. Bodogh and his wife, Wendy, Donna Hoover and Suzanne Taylor and her husband, Mathew, her grandchildren; Lauren, Kelsey, Kyle, Blake, Brandon, Gabriel and Andrew, her great-grandchildren; MJ, Greyson, Bentley and Felicity, her brother, Stephen A. Ehasz and his wife, Karen and her nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, Gloria was predeceased by her infant daughter, Jean Bodogh and her sister, Margaret Leeper.

A Viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 6 to 8 PM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 924 Second Ave, Alpha, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10 AM the following day, Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at St Mary Church, 830 5th Ave, Alpha, NJ. The entombment will then be at the St Mary Mausoleum, Alpha, NJ.
