Adam A. Lokitis Jr.

Adam A. Lokitis Jr., 83, of Phillipsburg, NJ peacefully passed away at Alexandria Manor in Nazareth, PA, on Saturday May 28, 2022.  

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on 12/16/38 he was the son of the late Adam Lokitis Sr. and Annunziata (Nancy Nastro). 

He graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in Brooklyn NY.  He was a member of IBEW Local 3 and worked 40 years in NYC.  He was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus in New York and Phillipsburg NJ. Adam was a member of St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg, NJ.  

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ella (Morrissey), his 3 children, Lorrie Collinge (Troy), Cindy Notaroberto (Jim) and his son Brian (Luisa), and his brother Joseph (Claire), 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother Tommy, and sister Victoria.  

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 2-7pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10am at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, 430 So. Main Street, also in Phillipsburg. The Entombment will be at the Holy Apostles Mausoleum in Greenwich Township, NJ.
